What is Family Connects New Orleans?
Family Connects New Orleans is more than just a program; it's a lifeline for moms like you who are navigating the beautiful and sometimes overwhelming world of motherhood. This innovative initiative is designed to ensure that every family, regardless of their background or circumstances, receives the care, support, and resources they need to thrive during the critical early days of parenthood. Family Connects New Orleans provides one to three in-home visits, free of charge, to parents of newborns up to 12 weeks old residing in Orleans Parish who give birth at Ochsner Baptist or Touro Hospital. You can expect a visit with a registered nurse around 3 weeks postpartum.
